Every LPN holds a current license from the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing, and every CNA appears in good standing on the Massachusetts Nurse Aide Registry. Both are re-verified at each renewal.
National criminal background screening plus Massachusetts CORI and adult-abuse registry checks are completed before the first visit and repeated annually.
Monthly checks against the OIG List of Excluded Individuals/Entities and the MassHealth exclusion list keep every caregiver eligible for covered care.
Thirty contact hours per renewal cycle for LPNs and twelve annually for CNAs — infection control, dementia care, transfers, and safe medication support — documented in each file.
Practical nursing and aide-level personal care are both performed under the supervision of our Director of Nursing, with documented competency evaluations twice a year.
Current professional liability coverage, CPR certification, TB screening, and immunization records are on file for every LPN and CNA on the roster.
Any LPN license number listed above can be confirmed through the Massachusetts Health Professions license lookup maintained by the Department of Public Health; CNA registry numbers are verified through the Massachusetts Nurse Aide Registry. Families may also request a printed credential summary for any LPN or CNA assigned to their home.
Verify a license"A patient should never have to explain themselves twice. The same nurse and the same aide return to the same doorstep."
